Inaugural
Alumni Award
Congratulations to the Inaugural Alumni Award recipient Prue Car [Guillaume - Class of 2000]. It was an absolute honour to welcome Prue Car M.P [Deputy Premier of NSW and Caroline Chisholm College Alumni, Class of 2000] to the College on Friday 23rd February to receive her award in person.
Prue Car MP; Deputy Premier, Minister for Education and Early Learning and Minister for Western Sydney returned to the college in our 50th year to be presented with the first CCC Alumni Award. Prue was the college captain in 2000. Prue demonstrates a strong commitment to serving the community with dedication and passion. We were delighted that Prue was able to join us to accept her award and to address the college assembly with a speech on the importance of female role models and how we as females can break barriers in a modern world, aptly launching International Women's Week. Pru will be joining at the college later on the year for a young women's forum with our senior students encouraging them to aspire and achieve their life and career goals. We will also explore the challenges facing young women and how we can design positive solutions if we collaborate together as women. We are women for women here @carolinechisholmglenmorepark
