Koorie Champions & Multicultural Club

We are thrilled to announce that the Multicultural Club at Delacombe Primary School has been hard at work preparing for Harmony Week, where we come together to celebrate inclusivity and diversity within our school community. As part of our efforts, we've dedicated time to create a vibrant display that embodies the rich tapestry of cultures represented among our students. From traditional attire to symbolic artifacts, each item serves as a proud testament to the unique heritage and identity of our diverse student body.

During this special week, our students have eagerly shared pieces of their culture, offering glimpses into their traditions, beliefs, and values. Among the treasures that were shared are some striking green stones from Māori culture, intricate bangles from India, and captivating Persian symbols, each carrying its own story and significance. Through these artifacts, we not only celebrate the beauty of our differences but also foster a deeper understanding and appreciation for the many cultures that enrich our school community. We have also learnt time learning new languages such as counting to 10 in Malayalam. As we come together to honour Harmony Week, let us embrace the spirit of inclusivity and unity that defines Delacombe Primary School.
