Kitchen Garden

Grade 3 and 4’s have had a lot of fun in the kitchen the last few weeks despite some learning experiences with the pizza dough rising. Included below are two pizza recipes for you to try at home. 

We have also been getting creative with our garden produce with students creating their own side dishes such as omelette, sautéed carrot and beetroot leaves, fennel salad, tabouli with fennel and onion weed flowers, mountain pepper leaf chips and delicious salads of the imagination.

This term we are also learning about bush foods and have enjoyed trying bush tomato in our pizza base and mountain pepper leaf on chips. They were delicious!
