Grade 5/6 Camp to Anglesea

DESTINATION OF EXCURSION: Anglesea YMCA Recreation Camp

DATE and TIME OF EXCURSION: Monday 14th to Friday 18th October 2024

GRADES ATTENDING: Grades 5/6

COST:  $600 (fundraising subsidised $125 per student)

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF EXCURSION:    

As a part of our camp program Grade 5/6 students will be attending Anglesea Recreation Camp. This camp has been designed to provide students with improved confidence, teamwork and water safety skills. Activities will include Bush Cooking, Archery, Canoeing, Hut Building, Giant Swing, Vertical Challenge, a surf lesson and more! The camp is for 5 days and 4 nights. 

Because we have fundraising in place, which will continue until the end of the year selling hotdogs and recipe books, we have calculated that the cost of the camp will be reduced from $725 to $600. 

Please note: payment in full is required prior to your child attending camp. 

Payment plans can be paid directly to the school account, as XUNO will only accept payment in full.

Grade 3-6 Swimming Program

Due to a centre shutdown at Aquamoves, we have had to move the swimming program. The new dates are Monday November 18th to Friday November 22nd. 

Students will participate in a 30 mintues swimming lesson each day of this week. The cost per student for the bus, entry and instruction is $75 per student. If your child would like to participate, we will need final numbers by 1st November to ensure we can deliver the program.

AFL Play Schools

We are looking at running this AFL program at school. There will be an additional cost of $55 which includes a football, 5 sessions and 5 weeks worth of Auskick giveaways.
