Art News
It is model magic mania in the art room this week! We have come back to school and straight into creating some fantastic 3D artworks. The Grade 1/2 students have used model magic to create a pout pout fish. What I love about these are that even though they all followed the same instructions, each fish has it’s own quirky personality. We are looking forward to painting and decorating them next week. In other Grades, the Foundation students made Wayne Thiebaud inspired lollipops that can be seen in the learning street, the Grade 3/4 students have started work on their mosaic clay turtles and Grade 5/6 are extending their clay techniques by planning, designing and creating their own free choice clay project, which will come into fruition after camp. The art room is definitely a busy but fun place to be!
