STEM

In STEM the Year 6s and Year 5s got to keep an egg safe, we had 3 stations. The first one was straws, tape, and rubber bands we had to make a triangle out of the straws and secure it with rubber bands and tape. 

My group was at the first station. We got straws and put them around the egg and used almost all the tape supply. Then we got rubber bands and put them around the tape. 

At the second station, you used balloons to keep the egg safe. 

At the third station, you had to cushion the egg with tissue paper and wrap it around the egg. 

Then we went outside and dropped the egg from 2 meters my group went first and our egg survived. All the groups' eggs survived. 

Art

In Art the Year 6s have been making self-portraits that will be displayed at our graduation. We first got a mirror and drew our faces on the paper. Then we got pieces of paper from a book and made them our clothes. 

At our art class this week we painted them with watercolours and it was very exciting.

 Some of us had to outline our artwork with fine liner and erase the grey lead, and some of us have finished but there are some people who were away and had to catch up
