This week in Maths we are learning to explore the properties of different objects/shapes.

VOCABULARY

Properties of 2D: include details such as its angles and the number of its sides.

Properties of 3D: include details about its vertices, faces and edges.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Have your child create or identify 2D or 3D shapes with around the house, and then label their properties (sides/edges, faces and vertices).
