Wellbeing

As part of Hampton's whole school Wellbeing curriculum, the children will continue to consider and engage with our School Norms of Collaboration, Aspiration, Integrity and Resilience.

 

Throughout the term, we will focus on the topics of Positive Coping and Relationships. We will integrate tasks from The Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships Program and the Visible Wellbeing Framework.  

 

Positive Coping 

During our unit on Positive Coping, your children will: 

  • gain an understanding how to collaborate and play fairly 
  • build up their emotional self-regulation skills 
  • explore positive strategies for anger management 
  • find proactive ways to deal with stressful situations 

Positive Relationships 

Throughout our unit on Positive Relationships, your children will:

  • investigate and apply positive communication strategies 
  • enhance their ability to build authentic connections with their peers
  • gain an understanding of the concept of trust in a relationship
  • explore the role of kindness and gratitude in forming positive relationships
