Music
Our students have been concentrating on ear training- recognising high and low pitch in the lower grades and tuning jars with water then ukuleles in the upper grades. We have also been broadening our musical vocabulary as we go.
Students progressed to following the contours of a melody up and down.
And imitating a pitch with our homemade Kazoos- what a hoot!
Our F/1 students got out in the sunshine to practise writing the treble clef- a tricky shape that records the higher notes. We used water and paint brushes to get the reps in and I was very impressed with their finished results.
Kind Regards,
