Tasmania's peak motoring body, RACT, have expanded their driver training services into the Kingston area. Initially offered on a trial basis, lessons will take place from their branch at The Channel Court Shopping Centre.
RACT Driving Instructor and Kingborough local Kendan Lovell says the trial will have huge benefits for Kingborough learners. "Not many people know this, but time spent learning to drive with us, is worth double time in a learner logbook, we also offer things like 12 months free roadside when students buy packages of seven lessons or more. There's already a lot of excitement about this trial. Many of my students are excited that they won't have to travel into the city, and they'll be able to practice driving on the streets where they live and spend their time."
