Principal's Message
Dear parents, students and families,
Last weekend some of our St Anne's students were Confirmed at Saturday night's 6pm Mass. Congratulations to these students and their families and please keep them in your prayers as they move towards adulthood within our Church. Congratulations to Alex B, Josiah B, Cleo C, Charlie C, Jane W and Owen W.
On Tuesday we had our senior students attend the John Paul College Lightning Premiership round robin. They were a credit to their families and school with their behaviour and performance. All teams had at least one win on the day and the Newcombe team actually won their whole competition. Congratulations everyone.
Last night we held our annual Foundation Parents Meet and Greet for the 2025 cohort. It was wonderful to meet our incoming parents who have now had a chance to begin to build the connections and relationships that may last them many years into the future. They certainly seemed to enjoy themselves.
Tomorrow we have our annual Lapathon when we raise money for our local Seaford chapter of St Vincent de Paul's. These funds are used to support families in our Parish through donations of Christmas Hampers and children's presents for our most needy Parishioners. I thank you in advance for your support and generosity.
Next week we will have a special day on Friday where students are asked to bring a jar as part of building up our stalls for Market Day on the 17th November. Your support of this is much appreciated
A reminder to please advise the school as soon as possible if your child from grades Foundation- Year 5 will not be returning to St Anne's Primary School for the 2025 school year, if you have not done so already.
God bless
Rod Shaw
Principal
