From the Acting Principal

Welcome Back

Welcome to Term 3! I hope you had a wonderful holiday. I  feel very privileged to be Acting Principal for Term 3 while we await the announcement of a substantive Principal. I feel very fortunate to be supported by the leadership team of Jason Puttnins our Assistant Principal and Michaela Edwards. Together we look forward to supporting our school community.

Welcome

A very warm St Brigid's welcome to our new Reception students and their families as well as our new students in Year 1, and Year 4.

Welcome: Zakia, Ziggy, Ayan, Andrew, Hao Xuan, Samuel, Angel, Thomas, Heloisa, Oliver, Mahira and Nicollas.

We also welcome back our Flourishing Hearts on a Friday.  We welcome our new Flourishing Hearts teacher for this term Ms Green and the new members of our Flourishing Hearts family Abas, Fatoumata, Ambren and Eli.

Can you please ensure your contact details are up to date. If you have changed mobile number or address and email address recently can you please let the front office know. These details are extremely important particularly in case of emergencies.

LLL Survey 

All families have received invitations  to complete a survey we are currently conducting about our school climate through the Catholic Education Living Learning Leading Survey. 

This is an important opportunity for you to let us know how things are going for you and your child/ren. Please be assured that your feedback will be anonymous and confidential. CESA and school staff will use the data to identify strengths and areas to work and build upon as part of our continuous improvement.

You can easily complete the online survey at www.NSIPartnerships.com.au and enter the code SBSKLLLP  in the start questionnaire field. It only takes 3 - 5 minutes. 

We would love for as many families as possible to complete this survey therefore we will have laptops and a staff member available in the meeting room from 8:30-9:15 and 2:45-3:15 each day. We will also have iPads available and staff to support at this term's library open evening on Tuesday 13th August.  

The closing date for the survey is FRIDAY 23 AUGUST.
