Year 7 Statistics: Hands-on Learning and Data Analysis

Our Year 7 students are diving into the world of Statistics through engaging, hands-on activities. They've explored various types of data and mastered measures of central tendency and measures of spread. By collecting their own data, students have gained first-hand experience in understanding the importance of big data and how to plot informative graphs.

With a strong emphasis on technology, students are learning to use advanced tools to analyse large datasets, realising that data is the new gold. Collaborative learning fosters teamwork, while individual assessments ensure personal comprehension and growth.

Check out the attached photos to see our budding statisticians in action, collecting data, plotting graphs, and utilising technology to turn data into meaningful insights!
