New Performance Opportunity for Year 9 and 10s

Calling all Year 9 and 10 students! Come along to a meeting on Monday, 29th July at lunchtime in PA1, to find out how you can get involved in a new and exciting performance opportunity! Details will also be on the Compass Newsfeed, if you cannot attend the meeting.

Drama Club

Drama Club is on every Friday lunch in PA1. This is a club where you can participate in a range of exciting drama games, acting exercises and theatre themed activities such as; creating and reading scripts, bringing characters to life, improvisation skills, and so many more exciting learning opportunities.

With Drama Club we aim to present a way for all students to make new friends and be themselves. Performing Arts is a creative space where everyone is learning and doing their best. By joining Drama Club, students will be taught about the creative process along with many life skills that the theatre can teach you. For example, you will be taught how to read situations through improvisation activities and how to work with a team towards a common goal. With this we are happy to say that the Drama Club students have an amazing new performance opportunity in the making!
