VISUAL ARTS

This term, local Eltham potter Mary-Lou Pittard pops into the Art room towards the end of July to work on the 100th Birthday mural with all grades in the school. This will involve students painting a small clay piece to be added to the mural she is creating. The Foundation/Year One and Two students will also be busy making Father’s Day/Special Person cards. They will be introduced to famous artists such as Andy Warhol and Pablo Picasso. The students will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of media such as wool, boxes, materials and paint to develop artwork reflective of their lives. It will be a busy term full of learning, creating and fun!
