Hello St. Fidelis' families, there are SO MANY exciting events happening this term.

Grandparents' Day

What a HUGE SUCCESS Grandparent’s Day was! It was filled with love, laughter and warmth from the beautiful mass, to the loving activities, all the way to the yummy morning tea! We are truly blessed to have such supportive grandparents in our St. Fidelis' Community!

Thank you to ALL of the families who made the morning tea so special by providing a plate to share. There was lots for the grandparents to choose from and they thoroughly enjoyed the yummy treats.

Thank you, the P&F committee members who put in a lot of time and effort, to set-up, supervise and clean-up for the morning tea event. Your commitment to our school community does not go unnoticed.

Thank you to the wonderful St. Fidelis' Staff who organised lovely activities for the grandparents and our children to participate in together.

Uniform Stall AND 2nd Hand Uniform Donations

The next 2nd hand uniform stall will run THIS Friday 2nd August, at 3pm in the school staffroom. A reminder that this is a cash only stall and if you could please bring your own bag for your purchased goods. We welcome any donations of second-hand uniforms for our upcoming stalls. Please ensure that the uniforms:

• Are in acceptable condition with no fading, missing logos or stains.
• Have a school logo or are PSW labelled, therefore no Kmart/Target/etc. purchases.
• Are in a clean condition.

Please place your items in a bag and hand into the school office to donate. Many thanks.

Apple Slinky Fridays

RETURNING for Term 3, every 2nd Friday, due to POPULAR DEMAND!

The next apple slinky days are: 

• Friday 2nd August
• Friday 16th August
• Friday 30th August
• Friday 13th September

Thank you to all the committee members who give up their time on Fridays to run this event for our children, you are greatly appreciated. And thank you to the parents for supporting this event by providing your children with an apple and $1 coin.

Trivia Night – ONLY 20 tickets left!

Upcoming on Friday 9th August, is the ADULTS ONLY St. Fidelis' Trivia Night.  YOU CAN NOW PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS THROUGH QUICKCLIQ, by following these steps:

1. Log into QuickCliq.www.quickcliq.com.au
2. Click on the EVENTS TAB from the drop-down menu – select Trivia Night.
3. Select either single tickets for $20 OR table (group of 10) ticket for $200.
4. Select shipping details as ‘pickup’.
5. IMPORTANT – Fill in the parent details, including YOUR TEAM NAME and NAMES OF YOUR TEAM MEMBERS in the NOTES section.
6. Pay for your tickets.

*150 tickets available for purchase, and they will be sold on a first in, first serve basis, so get in quick!  TICKETS ARE ALMOST SOLD OUT! The P&F are really looking forward to hosting this event and the fun that it will bring, including live and silent auctions, games and lots of laughs! Please see below flyer for further information.

Frittole Making Class 

Learn how to make homemade Italian Frittole with Paula Calabro on either Monday 19th August OR Wednesday 28th August. Only $30 per person, limited to 22 people per class. Log into QUICKCLIQ to book. www.quickcliq.com.au

Venue: St. Fidelis Staffroom. 

Start time: 7pm. 

Finish time: Approximately 8:30pm.

Paula will teach the craft of Frittole making followed by taste testing (YUM!) and each person who attends will also leave with their very own batter of Frittole to make at home. A glass of champagne provided on arrival, too! We hope to see you there!

Lunch Order Day

To celebrate Book Week, the P&F and THE VILLAGE BAKERY are running a lunch order day on Friday 23rd August. Food orders for this event are now open on QUICKCLIQ. www.quickcliq.com.auOrders close Friday 16th August. 

Here is the MENU:

Lunch (supplied by Village Bakery)

Sausage roll $6, Vegetable pastie $6, Party pies (two per serve) $6.

Sweet (supplied by Village Bakery)

Cinnamon donut $4

Friendly reminders: 

- Update you child/rens class details prior to ordering- If you have more than one child, you must place each order individually

- In the 'Select a Date' section please ensure you select 23/08/2024  

- Check for order confirmation email  

- Food is delivered over lunchtime. Parents are required to send children to school with brain food and recess.

Father’s Day Stall & Event

Every year the P&F organises the Father’s Day gift stall and breakfast.

• Stall – Wednesday 28th August. The P&F Committee loves this event, the joy on our children’s faces as they choose the perfect gift for their father’s and Granddad’s is priceless! Please ensure that your child/ren have a bag to bring their purchased items home in. 
• Breakfast – Friday 30th August. You will be notified on Audiri once online ordering becomes available for breakfast item purchases. Thank you in advance for your support with these events.

Family Fun Night – SAVE THE DATE!

Saturday 16th November (term 4).

$55 per adult, $30 per child – includes antipasto share plates, pasta and dessert. Drinks NOT INCLUDED!

Further information on this event will be released term 3!
