Concert Update

Our whole school concert ‘When I Grow Up’ is fast approaching. Hopefully students have had a chance to source their costume for the production. If not, there is still time before they require it on Friday 26th July for our dress rehearsal.

We understand there are some students with extenuating circumstances who are unable to perform at the school concert and thank you to those families who have let us know in advance. If your child is unable to perform or attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make appropriate adjustments. Important Dates

DRESS REHEARSAL: On Friday, 26th July students wear their full costume to school (including, shoes to be worn for the event, hair done etc…). We have a dress rehearsal at school that morning and students will have their photo taken. It is important that students have all pieces of their costume clearly named. Students will also need to bring a named bag containing their school uniform to change into after the rehearsal.

VENUE REHEARSAL: On Monday, 12th August, students come to school in uniform as normal for our rehearsal at the venue during the day. 

CONCERT: On Monday, 12th August at 5:30 families deliver students to Costa Hall in costume ready to perform.

If families are having difficulty sourcing a costume, please call the office and we can try and assist.

We appreciate the ongoing support of the Mano community with our whole school concert and are looking forward to a great show.

Concert Ticket Sales

All tickets for the ‘When I Grow Up’ School Concert are being sold directly through Geelong Arts Centre Box Office and are on sale now. 

Tickets can be purchased online at https://geelongartscentre.org.au/whats-on/all-events/when-i-grow-up-manifold-heights-primary-school/ or through the Geelong Arts Centre Box Office by phone on 1300 251 200 or at 50 Little Malop Street, Geelong. Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm or Saturday, 10am-3pm. 

Ticket prices are; 

Adults - $22.00

Child (under 16 years) - $16.00

Due to increased students numbers and limited seating at Costa Hall, we are only able to offer each family a total of 2 tickets during the first round of ticket sales (split and blended families will have a total of 2 tickets). 

Students performing at the School Concert do not require a ticket. To ensure you don’t miss out, please purchase up to the maximum limit of 2 tickets by Friday 26th July. After this date, the ticket limit will be removed allowing families who have already purchased their quota of 2 tickets to purchase more if available. 

Please do not leave single seats mid row when making your booking. 

Ticket purchases will be monitored and anyone exceeding the 2 ticket limit, will have excess tickets cancelled and money refunded. 

All students who are performing in the concert will be required to sit on the seats at the front of the stalls with their classroom teacher. You do not need to purchase a ticket for them.
