Girls SAPSASA Netball Competition - Round 2

On Friday 26th of July, the selected team of year 6 girls attended round two of the knockout netball competition held at Camden Park. The girls competed in one game against Reynella Primary. The game was close from start to finish, with the lead changing multiple times throughout the game. Despite their hard efforts in attack and defensive skills, Magill unfortunately lost the game by just one goal. 

The results for the day were as followed: Reynella (18) defeated Magill (17) 

This meant that Reynella Primary moved forward to the final round. 

Excellent effort and enthusiasm were shown by the team not only in round 2, but across all training sessions in the lead up to the game. It has been an absolute pleasure coaching the girls and seeing the progress made in their skills and ability to play as a team. They should be incredibly proud of themselves and I wish them all the best as they continue their development and love for netball in their respective club teams.

Netta 1 had a tough start back... the Comets just don't miss the goals when they have a shot but Magill showed huge resilience and character to keep going and not give up. Very proud of them!
