GENERAL INFORMATION

CAN YOU HELP KINDER?

TINKER ITEMS

Team Kinder is looking for donations of items that are in good condition but no longer work that we can take apart such as computer towers, toasters, kettles etc. As we only have flat-head screwdrivers and posi-drive/Phillips head screwdrivers, we can only accept items that can be unfastened with these screwdrivers. If you think that you can help us, please email/check in with me first. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any tinkering donations before they have been checked if they are suitable for our use. Please don't leave items outside the Kinder door or in Kinder while we're not there.

UNUSED PIPES

We are also looking for some clean and unused pipes to add to our sandpit play. If you think that you might be able to help please can you contact kmeese@bhcs.vic.edu.au or a member of Team Kinder.

CHILD SAFETY

Update to BHCS Child Safety Policy

As of 1 July, changes were made to the Reportable Conduct Scheme.  The Reportable Conduct Scheme forms one part of the child safety protocols with which the school must comply.

The term 'employees' as defined in the Reportable Conduct Scheme has now been broadened. Our Child Safety Policy has been updated to reflect these changes.

Our Child Safety Policy is available from our website and can be viewed by clicking here

Additional child safety information that explains the Victorian Standards both in depth and in a simplified form can be found on our website by clicking here

Concerns about child safety can be directed to any of our Child Safety Champions listed on our website; they will be more than happy to connect with you to hear your concerns and find the best way forward.
