Reminder – Paris 2024 Olympics and Language Clubs
The countdown to the Paris 2024 Olympics has begun, and the Languages Faculty couldn’t be more excited! From July 26 to August 11, the world will unite to celebrate the pinnacle of athletic achievement in the stunning city of Paris.
The Olympics offer countless educational opportunities across various subjects. Parents and teachers can use the games as a springboard for discussions and projects, enhancing students' learning in fun and engaging ways. Whether it's languages, geography, history, physics or biology, there are endless tie-ins to explore. French teachers, in particular, will have a unique chance to incorporate the games into their lessons, making the experience even more enriching for students.
Language Clubs Term 3
Language Clubs provide a welcoming and encouraging environment for students eager to enhance their language skills within small group settings. Students engage in a diverse range of activities, including drama, storytelling, technology, songs, craft, games, books, and film to facilitate learning. The themes explored in Language Clubs can be tailored to match the interests and proficiency levels of the students. Additionally, students are encouraged to visit Language Clubs for extra assistance with homework or upcoming assessment tasks.
