Volleyball : Junior Open

A week of exciting competition and achievements

The Junior Open 2024 brought together 63 students for a week of intense competition, with Year 10 students competing at State Volleyball Centre (SVC) from Monday to Wednesday, and the action moving to the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) from Thursday to Saturday.Out of seven teams, four reached the finals, demonstrating impressive skill and teamwork. Our team had a challenging but rewarding experience, steadily improving throughout the week. We made it all the way to finals and beat Upwey 2-0, taking the gold medal home! A standout achievement was the Year 7 Girls’ team, who fought hard to win a silver medal.The Junior Open 2024 showcased talent, growth, and sportsmanship, and we look forward to even greater achievements in the future.Thank you to all of the coaches and staff who helped made this tournament possible.
