Year 7 2025 Orientation

This week we welcomed our new Year 7 students for 2025. 

We began the day with an assembly where students got to hear from key staff that will support them next year including their Year Level Program Leaders and the Student Services Team. 

Students then left in their Homegroups with their Connect teachers and Year 9 Peer Support leaders for some getting to know you activities, a tour of the school and fun subject based lessons. The Peer Support Leaders continue to work with their nominated class all through 2025 to offer guidance and support as students navigate through their first year of High School.

By the time we got to our farewell assembly, you could some of the nerves that had been there in the morning had disappeared and were replaced with smiling faces and laughter from students who had enjoyed a fun day making new friends.

We hope that students feel excited about Day 1 next year, and strongly encourage students and families to read our 'Return to School' edition of the newsletter next year that will give them lots of helpful tips and key information to make sure they feel ready and confident for their first official day.

A big thank you to all the teachers and Junior Sub School in bringing such a great day together in welcoming our new students.
