Snow, Skates and Santa at the 2024 Christmas Festival
The City of Albany invites the community to join the annual festive celebrations at the 2024 Christmas Festival and Pageant on Saturday 7 December. Held in Albany Town Square and Alison Hartman Gardens from 3pm to 8pm. This year’s event promises even more magic with the addition of an artificial ice rink. The festival will also mark the official launch of the Holiday Hunt, a children’s Christmas-themed treasure hunt running until 21 December. Sky Careers School Holiday Workshops
These hands-on workshops are tailored to captivate and inspire students aged 7-17 years with a blend of science, technology, and aviation insights that encourage curiosity and exploration. These workshops are not just specific to STEM skills, students with all interests are very welcome.
Workshop Highlights:
- Age-Specific Programs: With options for ages 7-8, 9-11, and 11-17, our workshops offer age-appropriate experiences and flexible formats, including both 1- and 2-day sessions.
- Tailored for 11-Year-Olds: For this age group, we provide two pathways – a 1-day workshop for a taste of aviation basics and an in-depth 2-day option for students keen to delve deeper into scientific investigations.
- Activities: Students will enjoy airport tours, interactive sessions with both male and female aviation experts, and engaging hands-on activities, all held in the comfort of air-conditioned facilities at Jandakot Airport.

2025 Albany Summer School Acting Classes
Dates: Monday 13 January to Friday 17 January 2025
Location: Great Southern Grammar, 244 Nanarup Rd, Kalgan
