The spirit of GSG
What a week it has been at GSG!
Starting with the Christmas Service, Year Six Learning Celebration, Primary School Awards Ceremony, Primary School Christmas Concert and finishing with the Secondary School Awards Ceremony. It has been a festival of celebrating the very best of our school.
These events have captured the spirit of GSG and reminded us that we play a unique role in our learning community.
As the school year comes to an end, there is much to be thankful for. Putting our trust in God's faithfulness, GSG has matured and grown. Staff and students have meaningfully set out to shape a culture of inclusion, belonging and pride. All members of our community have actively contributed and engaged in school life. Every individual person has sought to do good, give of the best and live our school values of Respect, Integrity, Compassion and Commitment.
I would like to sincerely thank the GSG community for their warm embrace of me and my family this year. I have thoroughly enjoyed my first year as Principal and serving this wonderful school.
I thank the staff for their dedication to their roles and the impact they make for the betterment of the students in their care.
In this season of Advent, we prepare for the celebration of Christmas and the coming of Christ Jesus.
May you and your loved ones receive the blessings of peace, joy, hope and love this Christmas.
May you delight in this blessed season and may God give you the desires of your heart.
May you stay safe, take time to make memories with family and friends and I look forward to welcoming you all back to school in 2025.
Go well
