Dear Parents and Friends,
As mentioned over the last couple of week's Nforma is the platform used by St Brigid's for Student Reporting and Student Attendance Reporting. As of 2025 Nforma are rolling out a number of new applications which we will be transitioning to early in 2025. This includes but not limited to, parent teacher bookings, school notifications, school excursion requests. Our hope is that we will have as many of our applications in one app making it much easier for parents to keep track of all that is going on at school.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that all families now download the Nforma App. Student Reports which will go live at the end of next week will only be able to be accessed via the new App.
The process is very straight forward and once you have the App - it is very user friendly. Please see instructions below. Moving forward this will mean all information about your child is in one place.
If you have any problems please email Arch Cochrane: - acochrane@sbmord.catholic.edu.au.
This week some of our Year 6 students have assisted me with the newsletter as there seems to be lots going on at school. Thank you to Josh, Grace and Mikki for your assistance.
Did you know that we only have 8 days left of school - we have had a great year.
Sarah W
Sarah was surprised because she didn't think she would win Aussie of the Month. She also was really happy she won it. Sarah won it because she was caring for her fellow students and teachers and was very kind and helpful during class and when outside. Her friends were very supportive when she won.
Daphne : I was really surprised because I only joined this school in Term 1, I was also very proud of myself. Next year I'm going to try my best as a Year 5 student, to be a great role model towards the younger students next year. Daphne won it because she was always helping towards her teachers and fellow peers. Her friends were very supportive and gave her lots of high fives afterwards.
Luella: I was really happy and excited that I finally won the award. I was trying my best in the classroom and being nice to all my teachers and classmates. Everyone was looking at me and smiling, so I think they were proud of me. This certificate has now pushed me more to help others and be a kind and giving student.

It's a go!!! At this stage we are going ahead with our Christmas Carols. We will have some fun from 3.15pm - 4.00pm where you can look at the market stalls, purchase a sausage in bread, lolly bags, choc tops and fairy floss. PLEASE NOTE NEW TIME - Carols will now start at 4.00pm with the raffle being done either half way through the carols or at the end depending on when Mark Dreyfuss arrives to draw the raffle. Santa will arrive after the carols have finished.
We will make a decision on the day as to whether the carols will occur in the hall or the grass area and that will be dependant on the weather.
Keep your fingers crossed the rain stays away. Don't forget - students are to come to school in their christmas clothes (closed toe shoes please!) and bring a donation to St Vincents.
As we approach a very busy end to Term 4, I would like to take this opportunity to remind families of important upcoming dates:

I was very excited to hear that Tilly Foster (former St Brigid's Student) won the Outstanding Citizenship Award at Cornish College last week. Tilly was chosen from her whole year level for always living by the College values of respect, integrity, creativity, compassion, always with courage! I'm very proud of you Tilly - well done. It always warms my heart to hear when former St Brigid's Students are out doing wonderful things in the world!
Have a wonderful week.
With thanks
