Newsletter/Assembly Schedule

For new families, our newsletter and assembly runs on a fortnightly rotation throughout the term. On newsletter weeks, students participate in sessions with their 'Buddy Class' during the last session of a Friday, participating in wellbeing related tasks and activities.

Gaga Pit Going Off!

Thank you once again to our amazing parent volunteer team of Brenton, Ranj, James, Rachael, Stan & Stephen who sweated through last Friday morning constructing our new Gaga Pit (photos on the What's Happening page).

Students from all areas of the school have enjoyed getting in the Gaga Pit for a game whenever they get the chance, with some very competitive matches occurring across the week! Apologies to parents and carers finding shoes and socks filled with sand - all in the name of good fun and physical activity I assure you!

School Council Election

Shortly we will be commencing our annual School Council Election. School Council is the main representative body overseeing school governance and is a great volunteering opportunity for any member of the parent/carer community.

School Councillors are generally elected to 2 year terms, with a total of 8 School Council meetings occurring across each school year.

This year, we have a number of vacancies on our School Council - so if you've ever considered nominating, this may be the year!

New Mural Taking Shape

You may have noticed some new artwork appeared on the large green retaining wall over the weekend. Thanks to the hard work of our Art Show Committee and the generosity of community members who visit the Art Show, we are very lucky to be able to commission an Artist in Residence each year to complete an artwork for the school.

The current work is being done by artist Anthony Samargis (also known as "Resio") and will look amazing once finished!
