Performing Arts

Foundation students are enjoying learning new songs and dance games to keep them moving to the beat. 

Following the beat is an important skill in the early years and it’s great to see the prep students creating their own Beat Circles with untuned percussion instruments! 

Learning rhythm is fun with the Fruit and Vegetable Beats. 

The prep students are learning to clap with the beats.

The Year One Students listened to a relaxing orchestral piece, ‘The Spring Song’ by Felix Mendelssohn. I enjoyed seeing their musical response to the music whilst they closed their eyes and pictured themselves walking through a garden in the Springtime!
