Scholastic Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair will be returning next term, running from 8.35-8.45am & 3-3.15pm Tuesday 19th - Friday 22nd August.

We will need parent volunteers to help supervise and process payments - if you have any time to spare, please sign up here:

Term 3 Dance Program

Kelly Sports is offering a new Dance Program next term, each Thursday during lunchtime!

Trivia Night - Call for Sponsors & Donations

Trivia Night will be returning next term (date to be confirmed) and our Fundraising team is seeking sponsorship and donations for the event!

If you have prizes you are able to donate for our silent auction or know of businesses that may be interested, please let us know.

We are also seeking business sponsors to donate cash to support the fundraising efforts. All sponsors will be acknowledged with logos displayed on the night and in our newsletter as thanks. If you know of anyone who owns a business that may be interested in sponsoring our major fundraiser, please pass on the details to the fundraising committee (or the school office at ceres.ps@education.vic.gov.au).

Beleza - Possible Stock Issues

Beleza has had a significant fire in their warehouse, which may impact stock supply and mean some product delays. Please see the below letter for further information. They will keep us updated as more develops.

Entertainment Membership

A huge thank you to those who have purchased Entertainment Memberships this year! 20% of every donation comes back to the school and supports our Fundraising efforts!

SSB reminder

Any funds remaining after 30 June 2025, including online voucher amounts that have not been redeemed, will become a credit to use on school activities. However, the credit will not be available on your family account at our school until late July.

To use any remaining SSB funds to cover the cost of school activities in July, please refer to the SSB online system and allocate the funds to school activities before 30 June 2025.

The Department of Education’s SSB contact centre will remain available until 30 June 2025. The contact centre can be reached by:

Moriac Kinder donations

Thank you to those who have already brought items in for Moriac Pre-school! A reminder that Moriac Pre-school is holding its annual Moriac Spring Fete this October as a way to raise funds for their kindergarten. The Fete has a focus on reducing, reusing and recycling. As a part of their fundraising efforts, they will have a pre loved stall specifically of kids toys, board games, puzzles and costumes.

They are seeking donations of these items in good working condition.

We have a tub available in the office for any donations for Moriac Kinder - please bring these along before the end of June!
