Performing Arts News: Moana Jr.

Congratulations and well done to all of our St Brendan’s students who performed in the biennial whole school production, Moana JR. We are all very proud of your efforts, especially our Year Five and Six matinee and evening casts, in performing in not one but TWO shows at the Frankston Arts Centre last Monday, October 16th. Both performances were sold almost to capacity and the support of our community in coming to watch the shows was truly heart warming. It is hard to believe that our last live whole school production to be performed was back in 2019- pre Covid.

I sincerely thank all of the staff, families and students involved in the production for their support and tireless work in bringing the story of Moana Jr to life on stage. Special thanks to Damian (Father of Elsie) and all of the wonderful staff at the Frankston Arts Centre for their expertise and support along the way. We are so fortunate to continue to access this state of the art professional working theatre for our school productions. This is in itself a great opportunity for all involved.

Moana JR Recording Purchases

Both performances of Moana Jr were recorded by the fabulous Stage Fright Concert Productions team, and recordings of each performance can be purchased up until Monday, November 13th, when orders close.
