Volunteers Needed: Touch / Netball Carnival

Dear Parents and Carers

It’s that time of year again when we call upon our extended Boorowa Central School community to help with our annual Touch Netball Carnival.

The Boorowa Touch Netball Carnival has been running annually for over 25 years, excluding the last 3 years where Covid & bad weather caused it to be cancelled. It is the biggest carnival in NSW Primary School Sports with several thousand children competing in the event. The Touch Netball Carnival is about coming together, playing and enjoying sports and meeting children from other schools in the ACT and regional New South Wales.

The day is not possible without voluntary assistance. It is our schools’ major fundraiser for the year and we need our community’s support to make this day a great success. 

If you are able to assist us in any way at all please fill in the form below with your choice of time and return it to the school office. If you have an hour to spare before going to work on the morning of the carnival your help would be greatly appreciated. Please encourage your extended family members to assist us with this event.

Volunteers who arrive before 8am are able to park in the new tarred car park. The gates will be closed at 8am and no cars will be allowed entry after this time (except for those with a disabled sticker).
