On Friday, 15 September 24 students from the Student Representative Council (SRC) travelled to Young to attend the Hilltops Youth Action Forum. These students formed a larger group with Murrumburrah High School, Young High School, and Hennessey Catholic College to voice their concerns and aspirations to make the Hilltops area a better place for adolescents. They were encouraged to identify areas in need of improvement and pinpoint issues that require support and attention.

Boorowa Central School stood out during the event, actively engaging in discussions, and presenting an entertaining pitch to a panel of four prominent individuals who can help to provide potential solutions and positive change in the Hilltops area.

Looking ahead, students are eager to attend a similar event next year to continue to voice their concerns, suggest improvements, and actively engage in discussions and presentations.
