Welcome

In this edition of MY FUTURE Careers News, we are heading into our final break of the year. Universities are providing opportunities for students and their parents to tour campuses in readiness for 2024. Year 12 students have entered their preferences for University and TAFE courses, and are now concentrating on their exam preparation period. Applications for Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) close at 5pm on Friday 6 October. Students are reminded to meet these deadlines. ATARs will be released at 7am on Monday 11 December. More information to follow.

Students in other year levels will shortly be receiving notifications of Subject Selections for 2024. This is an exciting time for students. Our senior years Orientation program will be upon us before long. Students are encouraged to seek Career advice if they do decide to change subjects at this time.

In addition, this edition includes information on

  • University experiences during the holiday break
  • Audition and Folio workshops
  • Outward Bound Outdoor Education Traineeships
  • 5 STEM careers for people who love the outdoors
  • What it is like to work in a Pharmacy?
  • How to become a Climate Scientist.
