What a maths marvel Jem has been this week, demonstrating his division skills. He shared flavoursome ice-cream scoops between cones, delicious M&M’s between his hands and shared teddies on bikes. He even helped his friends grasp the concept by sharing his knowledge and skills with them. Well done Jem!

Carter dove into Term 4 with such excitement and positivity! He has been a star at our swimming lessons, demonstrating how responsible he can be with all of his belongings and in the pool with his classmates. We have enjoyed watching your confidence grow this year Carter and love having you in FA!

Bravery

Congratulations to Zoe for displaying bravery during the Foundation swimming program. She did an excellent job at organising her belongings and was able to participate in swimming each day with confidence. Zoe displayed perseverance and bravery.                          Well Done, Zoe!

Penelope has shown amazing perseverance during her swimming lessons. She arrived every morning confident and organised with her swimming bag. Penelope listened to her swimming instructor and participated with all the activities. Well done Penelope!

Leo demonstrated wonderful confidence during swimming last week. He participated with enthusiasm in his lessons and was always one of the first to be ready, making sure all his swim clothes and uniform was well organised and packed ready to go. Well done, Leo!

Nina demonstrates kindness towards her peers and is able to identify the qualities that make a good friend. She makes an effort to include others and is empathetic to how they are feeling. Nina is a wonderful role model to her peers and is a pleasure to teach. Keep up the wonderful work Nina!

Mila has once again made a wonderful start to the term.  She is always working extremely hard to produce her best work.  Mila is a great role model for her classmates and is always willing to help them. Great job Mila, keep up the fantastic work.

Vivienne Jarnett

Curiosity

Vivienne demonstrated a curious nature last week when researching about Thailand for her Geography project. She approached the task with a positive attitude and was able to find out lots of interesting facts about Thailand, including its capital city, where it is and how to get there! I am sure she will be able to make an amazing pamphlet and I encourage Vivienne to keep up her curious nature!

Harlan continually shows dedication and passion across all units of work. Maintaining a positive, can-do, attitude allows Harlan to tackle challenging learning tasks with ease. He has modelled this recently whilst completing his Geography brochure. Well done, Harlan!

This week Filip has shown great initiative in his learning. Whilst working on his Geography project, he has added his own personal facts about Serbia and has even engaged his entire family to ensure his brochure is of a high quality. Well done Filip!

Camilla takes great pride in every task she completes. She utilities her creativity in the classroom each day and shows excellent attention to detail. Last week Camilla created a biography cube after researching ‘Simone Biles’, she took her time to ensure she had a range of interesting facts along with a beautiful portrait and eye-catching design. Keep up the fantastic work Camilla, we can’t wait to see what you create next!

Kayin has demonstrated a dedication to working harmoniously with his classmates and teammates. His ability to collaborate and support others, both in sports and in the classroom, showcases exceptional teamwork skills. Ruby is a hugely valued member of 5L and her love of learning, particularly when it comes to Maths, is to be commended. Ruby works hard during Maths sessions and thrives when given open-ended activities. This week, she impressed us with finding over 200 possibilities to a fractions problem. Great work Ruby!

Kirra was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable contributor this week during a number of our class discussions. She showed particular maturity during our Cyber Safety session where she gave lots of great suggestions about how we could all build a respectful and positive culture when interacting online. Well done Kirra.

Scarlett was an impressive performer during the debate on the topic of whether zoos should be abolished. Her clear and articulate delivery, coupled with well-reasoned arguments effectively showcased her team’s opinions.

During our debates last week, Saskia effectively argued that zoos should be abolished. Her composed demeanour, clear articulation, and effective use of eye contact helped persuade the audience and adjudicator.
