Assistant Principal's Report

Mr Muller - Go Fund Me

A huge thanks to the generousity shown by the Black Rock PS Community in raising funds to support Steve (Mr Muller) and his family Marie (Ms Nicoll) and Archie. They are very much humbled and overwhelmed by the love and support they have been shown by BRPS organisations and families both past and present.

World Teachers' Day Celebrations

As Sam highlighted, a huge thanks to the staff of BRPS for the dedication, care and education they provide the students each and everyday. The celebrations held throughout the day to celebrate the staff was enjoyed by all - no one left the staffroom at recess hungry! The celebrations will continue for the remainder of the year as, thanks to our families, the cupboards are now full of all the staff's favourite treats. I think a few students now want to be teachers just after seeing the array of treats on display this morning!

Eyes were popping as staff entered the staffroom this morning.
Mr Burns' plate looking very healthy!
Lots of smiles in the staffroom today!
And not much talking because everyone was too busy eating!
Mr Halford's mouth is looking very full!

Black Rock PS Dads defeats Sandringham PS Dads in the Soft Tissue Cup!

As shared by Ash McVey - Black Rock Blokes

On October 7th, Black Rock Primary and Sandringham Primary played in the 3rd annual Soft Tissue Cup;  a dads footy showdown that would etch itself into local lore. The air buzzed with excitement as dads, typically on the sideline during kids sports, took center stage on the hallowed field. Laughter and camaraderie echoed through the stands as families from both schools cheered on the aging couldabeens.

In a gripping display of skill and determination, Black Rock emerged victorious, claiming a hard-fought win with a final score of 7.7 49 to Sandringham's 5.12 42. The match became more than a game; it became a chapter in the collective memory of the Black Rock and Sandringham communities.

A special thank you to the sponsors of the Black Rock Dads team! Park Lane Advice Group, The Fit Shop and Choice Energy - as well as the volunteers that made the day possible.
