Year 11 Outdoor Ed Camp
Year 11 Outdoor Education Expedition
During their second expedition of the year, both Year 11 Outdoor Education classes embarked on an exciting journey to Collie. The focal point of this expedition was mountain biking, a skill that had been the primary focus of their term.
The group's adventure commenced with an exploration of the Arklow trails, where they tackled challenges such as Arklow Adaptive, Mornington Glory, Dead Cats, and Ray's Trail. Each trail presented a unique mountain biking experience, testing the students' abilities in various ways. With determination and skill, they conquered these diverse trials. Subsequently, they set up camp at Potters Gorge, where they enjoyed some camping and fishing.
On the second day, the group continued their adventure by riding along the Munda Biddi trail into Collie. Throughout the expedition, both classes showcased their impressive skills and demonstrated the knowledge they had acquired during their Outdoor Education studies.
A heartfelt thanks goes out to Dave Walczak, Tim Wallis, Mark Richardson and Mitch Peters for their invaluable contributions in ensuring the success of this memorable camping experience.
