2023 Mazenod College Sportsman’s Dinner
Friday 27 October @ Mazenod College Gymnasium
The Sportsman’s Dinner is the night of nights for sport at Mazenod College. Students are recognised for their achievements in House Sport, Interschool Sport, Club Sport and State or National Representation.
There is a list below of the student award winners, who are expected to purchase tickets for the event, and be accompanied by an adult. There will be additional award winners in categories that are yet to be decided. Families will be notified via email in this case.
Ticket are $40 and include a gourmet buffet dinner and dessert, as well as entertainment with interviews of high profile sporting personalities. Any award winners on the list who are unable to attend need to inform Mr Grabski directly.
Parents and caregivers of award winners will be notified via email. Included in the email will be details on how to purchase tickets and other important information about the event.

Mazenod ACC A Division Athletics 2023
On Monday, 18 September, the Mazenod contingent embarked on their journey to compete in the highly anticipated A Division ACC Athletics Carnival, held at the prestigious State Athletics Centre. The carnival had to be rescheduled from the previous week due to inclement weather conditions. Undaunted by this setback, the Mazenod team who had dedicated themselves to rigorous training for several months in preparation for this event, were keen to surpass last year's 5th place finish.
Competing in the fiercely competitive A Division, our team recognised the formidable challenge posed by the outstanding athletes representing other schools. Our boys displayed unwavering determination across all events, achieving some remarkable individual and collective feats. Despite their commendable efforts, Mazenod secured the 5th place in the boys' competition, a commendable result.
I extend my congratulations to the entire squad for their unwavering commitment and dedication throughout the term. A special thank you is also owed to our dedicated team coach, Tim Blake, as well as our exceptional staff coaches, who prepared our athletes for their respective events.

Congratulations to Marcus M who was away in Week 9 competing with the SSWA State Soccer U16’s Team in Canberra. Marcus was awarded Player of the Tournament after a fantastic performance on field during the carnival.
