Principal's Message

Mother’s Day was celebrated on Sunday and I would like to acknowledge all the incredible mothers, grandmothers, carers and special women in all our lives.
Mother’s Day provides us with an opportunity to pause and say “thank you”, to show kindness, appreciation and gratitude for the love, care and support these important women provide each and every day. Last week, our students enjoyed participating in a range of Mother’s Day activities and, with great excitement, attended our annual Mother’s Day Stall on Friday.
PFA - Mother’s Day Stall Volunteers
A sincere thank you to our Parents and Friends Association for hosting this special event. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Jonathan Lay for kindly donating a box of socks for us to sell at the event.
A very special thank you to Catherine and Alan Nguyen for leading this event and for the incredible amount of hard work, time and effort put into organising everything behind the scenes.
Thank you also to Shoo Kim, Khens Vinh, Judy Zhu, Russ Yoon, Xiaoting Wei, Leah Quinn, Karen Wong, Yiying Deng, Brenda (Fong) Chua, Samantha Bandara, Helen Severino, Irene Darmawan, Jann Teo, Fei Wu, Visa Melissa, Thien Pocza, Wesley Pocza, Jonathan Lay, Jin Pereira, Sally Ren, Suyama Liyanage and Alicia Anindya for generously volunteering their time and support to help make the day such a success for our students and families. It was wonderful to see such strong community spirit throughout the event.
Raffle Winners - Mother's Day Stall
Congratulations also to our Mother’s Day Stall raffle winners; Thiyara (0LE), Stacey (4AA) and Evie (4AA). We hope your mum's enjoy their prizes!
School Uniform
As we move further into Term 2 and the weather becomes cooler, students are now required to wear their full winter school uniform. We kindly ask families to ensure that students are wearing the correct school uniform each day, including only wearing the sports uniform on their designated sports lesson days. We appreciate your support in helping our students take pride in presenting themselves neatly and appropriately for school.
Working With Children Checks
A reminder to all parents and carers that a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required in order to volunteer at school events, attend excursions or assist as a parent helper within classrooms. We warmly encourage parents to remain connected and involved within our school community, and ask that you please ensure your WWCC details, including your card number and expiry date, are provided to the school.
When visiting the school to volunteer, all visitors must sign in at the school office using the iPads provided. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for all students.
Student Reference Letters
From time to time, families may require reference letters to support student applications for secondary schools, scholarships or special programs. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly should you require a reference letter for your child. I am always very happy to support our students in these opportunities.
Congratulations - Cross Country
Congratulations to our Cross Country Team on their outstanding achievement in winning the Wellington District Schools Sports Association Cross Country Championships. We are incredibly proud of our students for their effort, determination and sportsmanship in representing our school so positively. Well done to all involved.
Upcoming School Closure Day
An important reminder that our next school closure day is on Friday 5 June. Staff will be involved in First Aid training and compliance areas on this day. If there is enough interest Camp Australia will run a program for the day so please ensure you register your child's attendance through their portal.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership with our school community.
