Minibeasts
As part of our Inquiry unit on Minibeasts, the Year 1 students used magnifying glasses to explore our Friendship Garden and discover minibeasts living in their natural habitats. Working collaboratively in groups, students used technology to capture their findings during their investigations. They then selected their favourite photo to share with their classmates, celebrating their discoveries and learning together.

Year 3 - 6 Intra-school Athletics 2026
On Wednesday 6th May, students from Years 3-6 attended our annual Intra-school District Athletics Carnival, held at the Bill Sewart Athletics Track.

Those students who are successful will represent our school at the Gardiners District Athletics Carnival in Term 3 on Wednesday, 16 September.
A sincere thank you to all staff for their support and assistance in making the carnival such a success. I’d also like to thank the parents who generously gave their time to help on the day: Angela G, Alyson S, and Jessica Z.

Congratulations to the following 8 students, Ezra M, Travis F, Stella C, Aaliyah F, Mikah P, Evanah P, Leilia W, and Ruth M, who have qualified to compete at the Monash Waverley Division Cross Country Carnival on Tuesday, 2 June.
A big thank you to Mrs Hewitt, Mrs Cohen-Beavis, and Vith (Jacob Filer’s mum) for assisting as a marshal on the day. Events such as these would not be possible without your time, encouragement, and commitment.
