As part of the Senior Program and Pathways to Community Experiences, some of our Senior students have been enjoying weekly visits to the Botanic Gardens. Every Wednesday the students take a walk and explore a different area of the gardens before enjoying a picnic lunch together as a group. Some favourite spots so far have included the beautiful Rose Garden, where students enjoyed smelling the different fragrances and learning about the star rating system used to identify the strongest scented roses, as well as the community garden and veggie patch.
These visits provide a wonderful opportunity for students to engage with the community, explore nature, build independence and enjoy quality time with their peers in a relaxed outdoor setting. We are looking forward to continuing these experiences and making the most of the beautiful weather before Winter really arrives!

On Thursday the White class had their first session at the Walkerville YMCA which is home to 22Too Gymnastics. 22Too Gymnastics is all about having fun and learning new skills, and everyone had an absolute blast.
