Outdoor Movie Night

A huge thank you to our incredible parent community, volunteers, and school staff for making our Outdoor Movie Night such a fantastic event. The weather behaved itself (for once), the night felt nice and cosy, and it was truly a proper community get-together. 

To our superstar volunteers and cake stall donors: Kristy, Peter, Lauren, Raema, Amy, Annaliese, Meribah, Christine, Imogen, Louise, Jack, Kate, Frida, Jacob, Hansika, and Claire, you made it all happen. Absolute champions. Apologies if I forgot someone; the day was a bit hectic for the volunteer crew, but luckily, we made it! Mil mil gracias!

Luke, mate, your popcorn-bag-filling skills are nothing short of elite. Truly the MVP of snack distribution. ¡Gracias por siempre estar ahí apoyando! 

Special shoutout to the amazing PFA team! You are unbelievable! As I said before, I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work with all of you here and now. Thank you Claire, Beatriz Aggie, Marta, Adam, Nicole, Billy, Jess, Andrea, and my Chilean amigo Alberto for going above and beyond! This is the way! 

Special thanks to Claire Moore, who is an absolute gun. The energy you put into everything you do for Newlands is remarkable and inspiring. ¡Muchas, muchas gracias! 

And to all the volunteers’ partners who kindly let their other halves lend a hand: thank you for sharing them with us (and apologies if we returned them slightly more tired). They signed up for one or two hours, but most of our parent helpers stayed until the job was done. ¡Gracias de nuevo!
