MYLO RETURNS TO MESC

Mylo has been happy to return to MESC this year and will continue learning how he can support staff and students across the College. Last week he enjoyed lots of pats from Year 7 students who were on the oval inquiring into mapping skills, found a big stick to keep him entertained in his down time and then was exhausted by the afternoon so had a nap under the desk in our Unit 1 Psychology class.

Mylo will be at school Wednesdays and Fridays and is always up for a pat whilst out in the yard at recess and lunchtime.

HSP Study Club

Mr Wilkins, Ms Raike, Mr Santos, Ms Lawler are running the HSP Study Club on Wednesdays from 3:05-4:05 if students need any extra assistance with their homework. Ms Raike will be there for Senior English support. The room to meet in is L1, and your teachers are looking forward to seeing you there.

HSP CLUB - be HAPPY, SMART and PREPARED in all of your classes!

This club has been established to support students that may need further assistance with their personal learning skills, catch up on work that has not been submitted by due dates, or general support with their studies.

As parents/guardians, you may receive email correspondence from teachers, encouraging your student to use this club as a strategy to support their learning and success.

The letter will state times that sessions are available. It is the responsibility of the student and family to ensure students attend. We want our students to have agency of their learning and promote responsibility and organisation.

Some sessions will have domain specific teachers, for example Maths or Humanities.

This will be indicated on each session. This does not mean this session is exclusive to that subject, it just may help students determine which session to go to. All staff will assist all students the best they can.
