From the Sports Desk...

It's great being back for another wonderful year of sport at Donvale.

Let's start by welcoming our 2024 House Captains, who will be an integral part of our Sports program.

Acacia House Captains - Luke S, Burhan M

Banksia House Captains - Lucinda F, Lachlan M

Grevillea House Captains - Jonathan L, Fynn P

Waratah House Captains - Clementine G, Ebony K

This year students will be given the opportunity to participate in several sporting events, beginning this term with our opt in swimming trials for the District Swimming Carnival for year 3 - 6, followed by the year 5/6 Summer Round Robin Sports Days, which involves students competing in sports from Basketball, Cricket, Softball, Rounders and Tennis.  We will also have visiting sporting clinics from outside providers. 

Across the year there will be cross country, athletics and junior sports day carnivals, winter round robin sports days, gymnastics, an aquatics program and so much more.  

Within Physical Education classes, students will be immersed in many physical activities that strengthen their understanding and knowledge of fundamental movement, different sports skills and fitness. 

We can't wait to begin.
