National Table Tennis Championships
Congratulations to Arvin Yeung, Year 9, for his outstanding achievement at the Table Tennis Australia (TTA) Tour held in July. Arvin clinched the gold medal in the U15 Boys Singles category.
Additionally, Arvin represented Victoria Team A in the U15 Boys Team event, where he won all his singles matches. His team secured the silver medal out of 11 teams. Amazing job, Arvin! Well done!
USA Baseball Championships
Congratulations to Will Ferguson, Year 9, on his selection by Baseball Australia to compete in the Wood Bat Baseball Championships in Alabama, USA .
From 12 to 19 July, Will had the unique opportunity to play at various fields across Alabama, including Rickwood Field (the oldest baseball field in the world). With over 200 teams competing, it was an intense and exciting tournament.
What an incredible experience! We look forward to hearing all about Will's adventures and achievements when he returns!
Premier's VCE Award
Congratulations to 2023 Kilvington graduate Charlotte Westaway, who recently received the Premier’s VCE Award in recognition of her outstanding results in VCE French.
The annual Premier’s VCE Awards acknowledge the top-performing students in the state. This year, 310 students were honored at the prestigious award ceremony.
Kilvington teachers Lucie Dickens and Nicolas Troitzky Pelletier were thrilled to attend and celebrate this momentous occasion with our former student. A huge congratulations to Charlotte!
Glen Eira Young Citizen of the Year
Well done to Class of 2021 graduate Jordan Tassone, who was recently honoured by the City of Glen Eira as their Young Citizen of the Year!
The Young Citizen Of The Year Award recognises outstanding efforts in community service. Jordan worked with the dedicated staff at Emmy Monash Aged Care to revamp their operations system, ensuring roster management was efficient and effective, with the ultimate goal being to ensure aged-care residents continued to receive quality care.
