Child Safe

Child Safety continues to be at the forefront of our practice as we welcome new staff and families into Hamlyn Views School. 

This year we have updated the PROTECT posters around the school to ensure they embrace diversity, maintain student friendly language and images as well as promote Child Safety for all students, staff and volunteers within the school community. 

We have completed a Child Safety and Wellbeing Induction for all new staff using the PROTECT Child Safe Standards Induction Power Point. 

All staff have also received and read the Child Safe Policies. Our child safety and wellbeing policies outline the measures and strategies we have in place to support, promote and maintain the safety and wellbeing of our students:
