Home Reading
Readers sent home are an important way to reinforce what students learn in class. By practicing at home, children can strengthen their reading skills, build confidence, and deepen their understanding. Whilst they may seem easier than what your child can read at home, the decodable books helps consolidate classroom learning and support ongoing literacy development.
Please support your child's learning by encouraging daily reading and remembering to sign their folder each time.
Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s classroom teacher.
Royal Flying Doctors Incursion
On Wednesday 4th June, we are excited to welcome the Royal Flying Doctors and their plane into our school! This incursion is part of Foundation students learning about our Community Helpers and also occupations.
This incursion is available for payment and permission on Compass! Thank you to everyone that has already paid.
Volunteers Needed!
As part of our current Inquiry unit, we are discussing different occupations. Are there any parents who would be interested in coming along to speak to the Foundation students about their job? If you are interested, could you please contact your child’s classroom teacher.
Keeping our school healthy
As the weather gets colder, we know that colds, flus and other viruses are likely to spread more easily. To help keep our classroom and school community healthy, we kindly ask that if your child is feeling unwell, please keep them at home to rest and recover. This helps prevent the spread of illness and keeps everyone safe and well. Thank you for your support in keeping our school a healthy place for learning.
NO Nuts!
To help keep all students safe, please do not pack any nuts or nut-based products in school lunches. There are several children in Foundation who have severe nut allergies, and even small traces can cause serious reactions. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe environment for everyone.
