YEAR 10 KEY INFORMATION: WEEK 8
Year 10 Retreat -Important Information
The Year 10 Retreat is approaching and will be held in Week 2 of Term 3. A parent permission slip for the Retreat will be distributed during Week 8. Please monitor your email and respond promptly upon receipt.
All Year 10 students are required to participate in either the Retreat or the Alternative Program. Students who do not attend the Retreat are expected to be at school, participating in the Alternative Program.
Year 10 Retreat - Alternative Program
Students who do not attend the Retreat will participate in an Alternative Program designed to extend their Career Education studies and prepare them for Senior Education and Training (SET) planning.

Australian Catholic Youth Festival
St Mary’s, in partnership with Catholic Education Diocese of Cairns, is providing an exciting, invaluable, and profound experience for students in Years 9–11. Places are limited, so if you’d like to be part of this fantastic opportunity, please register your interest.

Feedback Surveys will be conducted during Weeks 6-8 of Term 2, May 26 – June 13, to enable the analysis of results to be incorporated into the school's annual planning processes.
All parents and staff will be invited by email from CES to complete the survey, and all students in Years 5, 6, 8, and 11. We estimate that the survey will take up to 20 minutes to complete. All surveys are anonymised in the Survey Manager system, with email reminders sent weekly to non-respondents. Please don't share your survey link - families, staff, and students must access it in their email.
