Colac Division AFL Play
Congratulations to all our boys who participated in the ‘AFL Play’ Lightning Premiership last Friday at Colac Central Reserve. It was a great day, with fantastic weather. All three entered sides worked very hard. Sacred Heart Black were the overall winners of the day, and will now progress to the Greater Western Regional Event on Wednesday June 25th in Ballarat (the venue is still to be confirmed). Congratulations to the following players who will progress to the Regional Finals – Jock Melville, Alfie Doyle, Chase Hickey, Lachie Sheppard, Louis Foley, Brock Jamieson, Dusty McCrimmon, Felix Dare, Isaac McGuane, Harry Keast, Thor Medley, Levi Charles and Beau Perkins. A very big thank you to ALL the umpires and to coaches - Tom Rieniets, Tom Armistead and Alex Burnett and to all the parents, guardians and grandparents who supported the day. We are very grateful for your help.
Colac Division Netball Lightening Premiership
Congratulations to all our girls who participated in the Netball Lightning Premiership last Friday at the Eastern Reserve. From all reports, the girls competed very well and played some very good netball. Congratulations to Sacred Heart Red who were the overall winners of the day, and will now progress to the Greater Western Regional Event on Friday June 20th in Colac at the Eastern Reserve. Congratulations to the following players who will progress to the Regional Finals – Asha McNaughton, Poppy Sherman, Darci Green, Lena Mostert, Lily Keating, Mae Dwyer, Regan Smart, Lily Simon and Phoebe Robb. A very big thank you to ALL the umpires and to coaches - Sally Montano, Kate Tomkins and Ava Rooney and to all the parents, guardians and grandparents who supported the day. We are very grateful for your help.
Colac Division Boys Netball
The Colac Division Boys Netball will take place this Friday 6th June at Colac Eastern Reserve. The day will commence at 11:30am and finish at 2:30pm. Students will travel by bus to this event. We DO need parents to assist with coaching, team managing, umpiring etc on the day. We would also be very grateful to any secondary students who would be willing to umpire. If you can help out on the day or have a teenager who is willing to umpire on this day, can you please indicate on PAM or contact Nicole Lynch.

Colac Division Soccer
The Colac Division Soccer event is approaching quickly. This will take place on Friday 13th June at Colac Central Reserve. Trials will continue this Wednesday at recess for this event. Students who are trialling are reminded to please wear their sports uniform.

1. What sports do you play? The sports I play are football, cricket, basketball, athletics, fishing and swimming.
2. Which sport is your favourite to play? My favourite sport to play is football.
3. Why is this your favourite sport? Football is my favourite sport to play because it is fun and I am good at it.
4. What is your proudest sporting moment? My proudest sporting moment was winning silver medals at the State Athletics.
5. What are your strengths that help you with sport? My strengths in sport is that I try really hard. I am also very athletic and very quick.
6. Why do you love playing sports? I love playing sport because it is fun. My parents play sport too and they always encourage me.
7. Who is your favourite sports person? My favourite sports person is Cyril Rioli because he has great football skills and he is very fast.

10. How would your coaches and teammates describe you? My coach and team mates would say that I show very good sporting skills and that I can jump high and I am fast.

6. Why do you love playing sports? I love playing sport because it is fun and you get a lot of exercise.

8. Why are they your favourite? Dad is my favourite player because he is really good at whatever sport he plays.

3. Why is this your favourite sport? Basketball is my favourite sport to play because it is fun and I can make new friends.
