 “Our Diocesan Community”

Last week, we had the special opportunity to attend Mass together, bringing students and staff from St. Mary’s, St. Brendan’s, and Trinity College into one faith-filled community. It was a meaningful time to pause, reflect, and celebrate the presence of God in our lives and in our schools.  We were reminded, as pilgrims of hope, we journey together in faith, with hearts open to love and serve each other as we carry hope into our schools, families, and communities each day.

As part of our Catholic Education Week celebrations, our Year 6 students from Sacred Heart, St Mary’s and St Brendan’s participated in a group fitness activity at One Movement with Andre Delorenzo. The students were put through their paces, with running, push up drills, bear crawls and much more. Students finished with lunch and an ice-cream at Colac’s Memorial Square.

A big thank you to the Trinity band, and conductor Kelly Kerr who played for the school on Friday afternoon to finish our Catholic Education week celebrations. This talented group of musicians played many songs for us including Star Wars, YMCA and Hot Cross Buns. They also shared some knowledge of the instruments that they played.

Congratulations to Matilda Kerr (Yr 5MC) who played with the Trinity band. We are very proud of Matilda and her achievements.

Winter Appeal for St Vinnies

Our annual Winter Appeal for St Vincent de Paul is now underway. We are collecting generous donations to support those in need during the colder months. Items such as warm clothing, blankets, and non-perishable food are greatly appreciated. Please see the attached letter for full details on how to contribute
