Year 4 Excursion

The Year 4 students recently went on an exciting excursion to the Western Australian Museum Boola Bardip. One of the highlights of the day was participating in the Cultural Collisions activity session, where we had the opportunity to learn deeply about the rich histories, traditions, and perspectives of First Nations peoples.

Through engaging discussions and hands-on activities, we explored the importance of culture, identity, and connection to Country. It was a meaningful experience that helped us appreciate the depth and diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

After the session, we had time to explore the museum’s fascinating exhibits. From ancient fossils to interactive displays about Western Australia’s natural and social history, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

We were amazed by the stories, artefacts, and artworks that brought the past to life. The excursion was not only educational but also a lot of fun, and we returned to school with new knowledge, inspiration, and great memories!
