Kindy Hospital Incursion

The Kindy students have been learning about the people in the community who can help us. We recently enjoyed a visit from Nurse Mel who walked us through what we could expect if we needed to go to hospital.

We helped Grace (the doll) because she wasn’t feeling well. We learnt about stethoscopes, thermometers and having a needle.

We had fun dressing up as nurses, doctors and paramedics. We also got to have a go in a wheelchair. 

We learnt about the different ways we can get to hospital such as an ambulance, a helicopter or even the royal flying doctor! We had fun dressing up as nurses, doctors and paramedics.
